I paint with the color of my soul. I etch with the salt of my tears dynamic and movement onto the canvas. I struggle with my color palette to either gain or keep control of the canvas, hoping to never loose  it. At times I’m greatly despaired feeling I’ve been taken over by the canvas and failed to tame my inner vision, which I question consistently, yet I’m painting to discover it. I’m opening doors that are hard to close and impossible to walk through…but I’m creating them. I compose drama on the canvas that then in return will greatly affect me. I have to keep working to sooth myself. I’m always wondering about this, this fine balance… And then there is also stepping out into the unknown dynamic of color and my painting knife or brush and the known realm of learned design. Like a bow drawing from two sides one voice. I wonder if whoever it is, that might look at my pictures will be able to conceive of that glorious struggle?
