So who are these women?  Maybe they have given birth to the world. They have all the right shapes. All the right lines.  All the right souls. It’s not as if they can sneak up on you. It’s not as if you can simply look away. Each has a story to tell. Some have been broken. Others have been saved. All have been wanted. Of course they are real! How could they not be? So who are these women? They are mine. – Natalie Bruvels, 2011

The human form is the most breathtaking and intriguing subject for me. One of the many powerful characteristics of a nude photograph, is that it captures and explores the intimacy between the model and photographer. Who are these people? What does this person’s expression tell us? What are the photographers intentions? These are just some of the many questions that one can’t help but ask themselves.- Jason Michaels, 2011

It also forces the viewer to face many questions about themselves. Conflicts of desire, sexuality and one’s own personal body image, are just some of the many emotions that emerge to the surface. It is these epiphanies that help us to discover and formulate the person we are, and the person we would like to be. No other genre can evoke these feelings with such subtlety, simplicity and awe.
