Statement:
“The curve of a hip, the straining of skin over flesh, the softness of a thigh; Nothing can equate the powerful and raw nature of the naked human body, flesh and blood, even more so for the purpose of creativity and art. In honour of this tradition, Miss Muffin Von Chub, in partnership with La Petite Mort Gallery, is offering a limited-attendance figure modelling session for artists of all walks and skills.

This evening harks back to a time before cameras, when charcoal, clay, pencil and paint were the predominant ways to immortalize a moment. Figure modelling has been part of the artistic process for hundreds of years, but with the advancements in technology that brought us photography and the internet, there has been a shift away from creating art from a living, breathing perspective. The session throws back to the purist elements of figure modeling, when real, live nudity was relinquished, celebrated and worshiped.

Set in a friendly, comfortable & relaxed environment, the event will showcase Miss Von Chub in different poses in varying stages of undress, held for a varying length of time. Proper lighting, refreshments and music will also be provided. Bring your mediums, and your inspiration”.

About the model: Muffin Von Chub has been modeling in the nude and performing burlesque on and off for the past 6 years of her life, and is loving every second of it. Body positive, free and unashamed, she dreams of a world where everyone is allowed to be comfortable in their own skin, right here, right now. Embracing her body for everything that it is has granted her the freedom to be herself, and she is thrilled to share this freedom.
