Born in Ohio in 1939, Jim Hansen immigrated to Newfoundland in 1970. Known mainly for his highly personal, prints, drawings, and photographs, Hansen’s work is included in important national collections such as those at the Canada Council Art Bank, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Museum of Modern Art.
