Vince Beauchemin starts a dialogue with this new series and leaves the viewer to complete the circle of conversation. Through looking and feeling the emotions that he has subtly and sometimes outrightly invested in his works, the viewer layers new meaning accordingly, giving an exponential amount of variation for each work that Beauchemin paints.- Christina Anastassopoulos, 2011
Artist Statement:
Wistfulness and sensibility are the emotional anchors at the core of Vince’s artistic world. One part painter, one part witness of human feelings, his subjects speak through their eyes, revealing their inner worlds via subtle and gestures. For Vince, the human being, even in a group, is always alone to confront his feelings and concerns. Vince was in the Ottawa region four years ago. Since then, his work traveled the world, going to Shanghai, New York, Miami, Paris, Melbourne and Istanbul. He will be stopping by LPM gallery for a Five Day Exhibit starting February 25, 2011 with his latest art work.- Vince Beauchemin, 2010
