Anonymous Rare Cut/Woven Portrait Painting
Rare, unusual, one of a kind woven painting. Basically, two paintings on paper, both cut in hundreds of 1/4″ strips, then woven into one final piece.
They are literally two paintings sliced and woven into each other.
Unknown artist & origin. Acquired in vintage shop in Montreal in the 1990’s.
Measures 37.5″ width x 43″ height. Black metal frame.
Asking $2800 framed. Verbally appraised by several private dealers. Estimated at $4500
